Family Cash, the fastest growing retailer in Spain in recent years, characterized by being a diverse and affordable brand, came to Columna with the challenge of creating its own brand for its electronics category.
The challenge
To enhance the value of the Electro section through the creation of our own brand, appropriable within the category, all while transmitting superiority, and being distinctive on the shelf.
The solution
We created a naming that would evoke technology in a humane and easy way. Thus, Tequio was born. With a modern graphic identity, we segmented the entire portfolio and created a unique and easily applicable packaging design system, which we then divided into the 3 main categories of the brand: large appliances, small appliances and electronics. A clean and elegant design, with its own photographic style, and a verbal identity that appeals to the local, with product names inspired by villages in the Valencian Community, make Tequio a brand with impact and prominence in each shelf.
