Surface is a fully integrated digital agency born from two of Spain’s top independent media agencies, Infinity and Veritas Media. Alongside these two agencies and Social Mood, it forms part of &Beyond, an independent communication group specializing in strategy, content, and media.
At Columna, we worked on the brand’s strategic concept, created the logo, visual universe, and designed the website.



Effectively digital
The main goal of the brand is to deliver, through innovation, valuable solutions and results at a digital level.
Surface brings a professional and specialist way of being and acting. Approachable and transparent. Flexible and efficient.
In short, effective.
Thus arises the Brand Essence and tagline of Surface: Effectively Digital, reflecting the effectiveness with which the company works—an integrated offering of digital services (Media, Data, Technology, and Strategy), always tied to results and resource optimization.

The pixel: the unit
of a digital image
The logotype was designed in uppercase with a symbol placed above the “U” referencing “surface,” as the brand name indicates. The dash represents what we see in digital media, while the brand name “Surface” represents management, metrics, and data not visible to the consumer. The use of this dash also carries over into the “S” in the simplified version of the brand, adding a distinctive touch.
The visual universe relies on using pixels as the main graphic elements. Used in different colors and opacities, they bring the dynamism and digitalization that the brand aims to convey.
Columna also applied the brand and its visual universe to certain corporate materials, such as the website.
