A brand rooted in copper

La Farga is a multinational group based in Catalonia, dedicated to manufacturing and marketing semi-finished copper products and their alloys for the electrical, industrial, railway, and construction sectors. It also specializes in copper recycling and circular economy. Founded in 1808, the company has over 200 years of history and innovation.

The challenge

At Columna, we faced the challenge of updating and revitalizing the brand while respecting its legacy. We developed a comprehensive branding project: brand strategy, visual and verbal identity, and a new graphic language.

Brand concept

We defined the brand essence as: ‘Copper is life, we bring it to the future.’ This essence conveys the role of copper as a vital, sustainable, and innovative material, aligned with the company’s forward-looking, human, and responsible approach.

Visual identity

The new identity is based on a logo with a strong industrial and technological character. It is complemented by a graphic system inspired by copper textures and surfaces, as well as a photographic style that reflects precision, process, and transformation.

The new color palette—warm and metallic—reinforces the connection with copper and its applications, while projecting modernity and strength.
