Background
Managing the Madrid Region’s public transport system (metro, bus, commuter trains…) is quite a challenge. But that’s exactly what the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid has been doing since 1986, connecting the lives of more than 6 million citizens living in the region.
The challenge
At a time when we are reimagining the way we get around, the Consorcio wanted to keep moving forward, in order to remain close to its users, thus positioning itself as a leader in mobility for the Madrid of today and tomorrow.
The solution
If the Community of Madrid has its own rhythm, it is only normal for its transport to adapt to it. After a thorough strategic rethinking, we designed the Consortium as a multimodal solution, connected very close to the daily lives of its users, capable of giving agile response to the mobility challenges of the future.
