Background

AC Marca Group celebrates its 100th anniversary.

Its history began with household textile dyes (Iberia dyes), and since then it has continued to incorporate highly relevant brands such as Norit, Orion, Giorgi, Sanytol, Ceys, Ecran, and Lactovit, among others, today bringing together a portfolio of 50 well-known, high-value brands. The Group has diversified its business areas and internationalized the production, distribution, and marketing of its brands. Thanks to this evolution, AC Marca has spent 100 years building a relationship of trust with consumers, day after day.

To mark this milestone, AC Marca sought to celebrate its centenary in a distinctive, consistent way aligned with its brand values. Throughout the anniversary year, a series of events were held to commemorate this important occasion.

The outcome

We created a centenary brand built from the iconic shape of the current logo, giving a strong and recognizable identity to its 100th anniversary.

A pattern with many years of history

We created a proprietary pattern using several historical advertising posters and linked it directly to the centenary identity by incorporating the corporate blue color. From these same materials, we extracted highly recognizable elements (such as mascots and packaging) to create a series of icons that enriched the communication pieces.

The book launch event

The first event that marked the start of the anniversary year was the presentation of the Centenary Book. In a setting as magical as La Cocina de los Hermanos Torres, we successfully integrated the centenary identity and created a warm, celebratory atmosphere.

We reinterpreted some of the most iconic advertising posters by incorporating different centenary taglines such as “The value of making history,” “100 years, day by day,” and the dates 1922–2022.

The event at the MNAC

The final event of the year was the most significant and well-attended. The Group brought together its entire team (management, offices, and factories, both national and international) for a unique celebration at the MNAC.

The space reserved for the event was dressed with the centenary identity, and dedicated areas were created in the museum’s lobby for each brand, allowing guests to relive the Group’s history. The celebration concluded with a grand dinner and show in the Oval Hall, also decorated with the centenary identity.
