Background

Afaquim is the Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Health Chemistry Products. It brings together and represents 36 companies that manufacture health chemistry products, especially active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and intermediates, essential elements in the development and production of medicines.

The challenge

To present Afaquim to society with the relevance that defines it, clearly conveying its positioning and highlighting the importance of active ingredients within the pharmaceutical value chain.

The solution

We redefined Afaquim’s value proposition, moving it away from the concept of “fine chemicals” and closer to health, highlighting the essential role of active pharmaceutical ingredients.
We repositioned the brand to emphasise its impact on people’s wellbeing, and from this new perspective we built a clear and relevant identity. The new brand reinforces its legitimacy and reflects its commitment to innovation, quality and health from the origin.
